Celebrities have always been in the limelight, for good reasons or bad. Earlier, it was the paparazzi that brought us news from the celebrity world. Now, it’s the celebrities themselves who are “tweeting” all about their adventures and their parties.
Thanks to the latest social phenomenon called Twitter, celebrities have found a new way to connect with their fans. They can share photographs, music, and almost everything else on their twitter profile, where their followers can see and comment on them. But there’s a certain amount of risk involved in such a public forum. Resentful people might post slanderous comments, or their accounts might be compromised in some manner. But then that’s probably part of being a celebrity.
