Worlds renowned and probably India's best Painter M.F Hussain passed away on 9th june, 2011. Sources close to the artist said that he died a pain free death. He passed away in London at Brompton Hospital durong the early hours of the morning.
Hussain was known as Picasso of India. He had deeply angered Hindu sentiments after he drew nude paintings of HIndu deities. After facing several political and religious allegations he wen tinto voluntary exile and spent his life shuffling between Dubai and London. He expressed his sadness for not being able to reside in his home country but said that his heart would always be in his mother land.
